Ketotifen Elixir Back in Stock, March 8, 2024
Ketotifen (Zaditen) Elixir, which has been out of stock since December, is now back in stock as of March 8, 2024.  It may take several days for the supplies to be entered into the system at the distributor, Alloga.  As usual, if a pharmacy’s preferred wholesaler does not carry the product, it can be ordered

Ketotifen tablets are out of stock.  We have been told they are expected back in the second week of December. Ketotifen elixir (liquid) is available and in stock with Alloga UK.   The code for the elixir is Code USP0832 ZADITEN KETOTIFEN ELIXIR 300ML S/Berry.  If your pharmacist is having trouble obtaining the elixir please 

Generic Sodium Cromoglicate in good supply
The branded version of sodium cromoglicate called Nalcrom (Sanofi) is no longer distributed in the UK. Generic sodium cromoglicate 100mg capsules are in good supply from Somex Pharmaceuticals.  If your pharmacy is having trouble finding stock, please share the following codes with them so they can be certain they are asking for the correct products 

Recall of all Emerade 300 and 500 mcg Adrenaline (Epinephrine) Pens
The manufacturer of Emerade pens has shared the news on May 9, 2023 that it is recalling all 300 mcg and 500 mcg due to a risk of malfunction.   They should be returned to the pharmacy and replaced with either an Epipen brand or Jext brand 300 mcg pen. Please see this link for 

Ketotifen 1mg tablets back in stock on April 18/19 2023
Ketotifen tablets are arriving at Alloga UK today, April 17, 2023 and should be available for order by Wednesday, April 18 or Thursday April 19.  Pharmacies can order directly from Alloga UK and be billed through their preferred wholesaler, which may speed up delivery to the patient.
